I just finished the childbirth education class through the office and it was an incredible course. Kristina, their childbirth educator, is phenomenal at what she does.
When we were in the beginning stages of seeking treatment for infertility Dr. Sharp took time out of her busy schedule to personally call me to go over test results and discuss our next plan of action. Her personalized attention and high quality healthcare is something to be admired.
I have been so pleased with all of the providers at OBGYN-PC. Dr. Sharp delivered my first child, which turned into an emergency c-section. She made me feel so comfortable throughout this emotional time, I couldn’t ask for a better first experience. Dr. Davis delivered my second child via planned c-section. Throughout the entire planning process and through the delivery she was very relaxed and informative, and just made me feel at ease and very comfortable. I could not ask for any better experiences. I have seen all of the providers throughout my 2 pregnancies and recommend all of them to anyone looking for an OB or a general gynecologist. They are each wonderful!
I was so fortunate to have Dr. Bauer, Brandi and Kristina there during labor/delivery with my baby. Each one of these ladies are so passionate and talented at what they do and there wasn’t a single moment that I didn’t feel confident in their care. Thanks to them, my husband and I now have a beautiful, healthy little boy. We couldn’t have asked for a better dream team!
Having had not so great experiences at another GYN practice in the area, I was cautiously optimistic the first time I met Dr. Riethman. That was a few years ago, and he is still my doctor. He is kind, compassionate, and always makes me feel at ease. I would highly recommend him and this practice to any woman I know.
There is no better office in the Kalamazoo area! The physicians, nurse practitioners and midwives all have been so kind and compassionate. I have felt so cared for, in regards to my health, and so cared about as a person. I would highly recommend this office for any woman at any stage in her life.
I have been a patient of OB/GYN PC for over seven years and have been overall absolutely thrilled with this practice. As a patient I feel valued by the entire team of providers, nurses and office staff. I am about to have my third child with this group and feel extremely confident my care will continue to be outstanding. OB/GYN PC has so much to offer for the community as well; I just finished the childbirth education class through the office and it was an incredible course. Kristina, their childbirth educator, is phenomenal at what she does. The office continues to expand to meet the community’s needs and that is why I am always confident to refer any woman to OB/GYN P.C.
I had a great experience with all the doctors. I loved Dr. Lomax, especially after he delivered our first child! They have a beautiful office and everyone there made our whole family feel cared for.
The course was an awesome experience. My husband and I liked the hands-on practice, and the important information. Kristina was always well-organized with informative hand-outs. I would recommend this course to any first-time parent.
When my husband and I decided to start a family, our first pregnancy ended at 10 weeks in a miscarriage. Dr. Johnson was with us through that loss, and again through our second loss just two months later. Fast forward to a corrective surgery, and third pregnancy, I came to my 12 week appointment with Dr. Johnson. I was so touched when she walked into the office, she remembered me, my journey, and was genuinely so excited for my pregnancy. Unfortunately, my pregnancy was far from uneventful and I felt like I was ALWAYS calling the nurses (who are amazing as well).
Throughout my pregnancy, Dr. Riethman was so informative and helpful with any and all information or questions I had. Around 18 weeks, while out of town, Dr. Riethman, the on call doctor, made me feel at ease through an ER visit 1200 miles away.
Dr. Davis was so very thorough with everything and she was the one who caught on at 34-36 weeks that my baby was not growing enough, and ordered a growth scan at 37 weeks.
When it came time for delivery and induction at 38 weeks, Dr. Johnson was on call. I remember being concerned that I was going to deliver after shift change and I wouldn’t have Dr. Johnson. When I asked, she said, “Why? I am going to be here, I’ve been through too much not to see that baby.”
I cannot say enough about all of the doctors that are with OB-GYN PC, the nurses, the ultrasound techs and the office staff. Through our long and emotional journey, my husband and I have always felt that we have been taken care of so well.
Dr. Davis delivered both of my babies. She gave me the best gifts in the world! I love all the doctors and nurses there, but Dr. Davis will always be my absolute favorite.
As any mother knows, the people in the room with you for the delivery of your child develop strong bonds unlike any other experience. After a very fulfilling natural birth with a midwife and doula for my first child, I was sure I wanted this for my second. Unfortunately neither of my birthing partners were still providing services in town so I started the selection over again. Based on the recommendation of many friends I went with OB-GYN PC and Kristina Ledlow and couldn’t have been more pleased. Dr. Bauer provided one on one focus with me throughout the process, bringing peace and reassurance whole time. She listened well and responded with wisdom and freedom for me to make choices. Kristina was by my side every minute, providing comfort as possible and encouragement for the task. Both women allowed my husband and me to fully focus and appreciate the miracle at hand.
My husband and I feel very grateful that we had the opportunity to take this labor and delivery class. The class for me had great information as to what I could expect going into labor, delivery, and caring for a newborn. Before the class, I had many concerns and questions. This class has enabled me to feel more confident about going into labor and trusting my instincts and my body. The class answered all of my questions and many more that I hadn’t even thought about. For my husband, the class enabled him to understand more about what I and the baby would be going through during the labor and delivery process and how to be a great support. We loved going to the hospital for a tour and seeing first hand where we would be when the big day comes. Specifically, Kristina is an excellent teacher. She is very informed on labor, delivery, and postpartum, and she creates a safe and open learning environment. I will recommend this class to anyone who is going to be a first time parent, or to a parent who would like to have a refresher, as information and procedures may have changed over time.
I cannot say enough about how much more prepared I feel in general. What to expect for labor and all the different options available described in detail was very comforting. Also I really found all the breast feeding information to be very valuable. A lot of women really struggle with that and I feel much more prepared. My sister just had her baby a few weeks ago, and I didn’t realize how much I had really learned until I was able to give her all sorts of great advice. The class environment was so supportive and fun! I would highly recommend to any expecting parents to take the time and go to this class. I found in invaluable!
My first experience with OB-GYN, P.C. was in the early 80’s when I came with a good friend to her OB appointment. I was so impressed with the friendly atmosphere and personal attention she was given, that I returned as patient myself when I was pregnant in 1985. Two pregnancies and 3 babies later, I continue coming each year for well woman exams! As I approach menopause, I have relied on Dr. Riethman and his wonderful staff for support and guidance. The office is very well run and organized. It’s great to know that I can always count on them for specialized quality care.
